Summary
In 2019, the French Polynesian Zinga Distributor, Pyxis, received an order for contracting and protecting the guardrails of a 50-meter visitor’s footbridge at the Station d’Épuration de Papeete (Wastewater Treatment Plant) with ZINGA. They were also contracted to construct and protect several steel frames and joinery parts for the new Taoone Territorial Hospital in Papeete.
The guardrails for the treatment plant were sandblasted to SA 2.5 before being coated with two 60 µm DFT coats of ZINGA.
The same process was undertaken for the steel frames before they were installed in the hospital.

Summary
The FEMSA (Coca-Cola Uruguay) factory in Montevideo features a corrugated HDG roof structure which was badly in need or repair, however fully replacing the roof would mean temporarily ceasing production across the entire factory. Posing an alternate solution, the local ZINGA Distributor first visited the site in 2013, where they covered a small test area of the roof with ZINGA.
5 years later, when the test site had proven to provide excellent protection against corrosion, FEMSA decided to refurbish the entire roof using ZINGA. The first part of the roof was completed in 2019. Approximately 4 tonnes of ZINGA was used for the repair.
The remainder of the roof maintenance repairs is scheduled for the coming years.

Cardinal Place Roof

Summary
Cardinal place is a 100,00 sq ft retail and restaurant space in Victoria Street - one of the busiest districts in Central London. Its glazed roof has a roof cleaning device which weights 40 tons and runs on four steel wheels which have a point-loading of 10 tons per wheel. Zinga was used to coat and protect the steel surface that comes into direct contact with these wheels, with two 45 µm DFT coats having been applied. The contact surface area of each wheel on the ZINGA is approximately 1.2 cm, so the loading is about 10 tons/cm.

Summary
The Great Orme Tramway, located in South Wales, has been delighting visitors since it opened on July 31st, 1902. An engineering marvel of its age, it is the only cable-hauled tramway still operating on British public roads. The 40 year old previously hot-dipped steel structures (truss ties) on the tramway’s Middle Station roof were repaired using ZINGA.
In December 2009, 2 coats of ZINGA were applied by Colorado Corrosion after having steam cleaned the surface in preparation.
