Summary
In 2010, Queensland Main Roads specified ZINGA for two new signage gantries on Bribie Island Road. The gantries are 18 and 26 meters in length.
ZINGA provides comparable protection to hot dipped galvanising without size constraints. The gantry was too large to be galvanised. This also reduced post fabrication transport requirements with the associated cost savings.
The coatings application was done by Neumann Contractors.
The gantries were first abrasive blasted to Class 2.5 before the application of 2 x 90 microns of ZINGA.
